Full Review:

My first crusie I was full of expectation after listening to friends of how good the food is ,no hassle getting on board or getting off. My over all view was very disappointing. it seemed to me that after a refit this was a trip to iron out problems before the world crusie. Ports of call changed from when we booked,Tripoli was out end up in pointless call to Palma on boxing day where the majority of places where closed. A problem with ship in Barcelona left us with a long haul back and missing are last port of call. Getting on Board to start the crusie took over an hour and half of quing. getting off was hampered by crew getting off the same gangway and barging past and the Commodore try to get back on board one gangway seems inadequate for 2300 passengers and crew. cabins where fine and the cabin service was excellent. entertainment apart from the young group ,the rest was past its sell by date. My biggest disappointmet was the Meridian Restaurant, after quing to get on board found myself in even longer que on the first night, and have to say the food was hardly worth quing for. Over the 16 nights cruise it was obvious where the officers of the ship perfared to eat. After using Gary Rhodes/Orchid restaurants 7 nights my self. The Belvdere restaurant was exceptable the service was good. The food some days better than others. If you asked me would i cruise with the Arcadia again the answer would have to be NO
