Experience the cosmopolitan ambiance of the Aurora intertwined with classical British design. The ship measures 270 meters in length and 32 meters in width. It travels at a speed of 24 knots. With a crew of 850, the 1874 passengers can experience service at their fingertips. This cruise ship has 939 cabins on 10 decks.

Built in Germany in 2000, she sailed into the port of Southampton escorted by the Tall Ships. The Aurora cost º 200 to build and boasts the latest in engineering, comfort for the passengers and navigational equipment.

The tiered stern of the ship exudes elegance. Dine in style at the Café Bordeaux or any of the other restaurants, which have a Moorish décor. The lavish waterfall in the atrium is a joy to behold. If you love chocolate, then you will adore the chocolate bar in Raffles and the three pools have ample room for you to enjoy a quick dip or a long swim. Bad weather won't keep you from your swim as the pool has a retractable roof. There is also a golf simulator and a virtual reality center. Children are welcome on this ship, so you can expect to see plenty of families.

Evenings on Aurora

Take in a cabaret in the Carmen show lounge, films in the Playhouse or shows in the Curzon. Tradition is the name of the game in dining, with three restaurants to choose from. For those that do not go to bed early, try your chances at the Monte Carlo Casino or dance to the music at Anderson's.

There are 11 bars and lounges to choose from, shopping, a salon and spa, a well-stocked library as well as a Promenade Deck where you can take a leisurely stroll.

Cruises

Take a 103 night cruise that will take you to 35 ports in 24 countries. This is the most expensive cruise, but there are shorter ones you will also enjoy. Travel from Auckland to Southampton on a 60-night cruise, which will take you to 17 ports in 12 countries with stops in such places as Sydney. Brisbane and Singapore. There are actually 49 cruise selections lasting 3 nights or two weeks, such as to the Atlantic Islands, the Baltic and the Eastern and Western Mediterranean.
