Full Review:

Dining became a chore for me every night, I only eat white meat & trying to get a variety of different meals that was not on the menu was awful, the head waiter was not very accomodating, it was only when I spoke to some-one more senior than him, the second to last night of my holiday that I found that something could have been done, instead of being fobbed off every night, so if you want something to eat that is not on the menu, insist on it, as dining is big part of your holiday. Entertainment was average, only some of the acts were worth seeing ie: comediens, the acts finished around 11.30/midnight, acts usually overlapped each other, which was annoying, so you could miss someone you wanted to see time slots not very organised, and apart from the planet bar which was empty most nights, or Bodies which we didn't like, there was nothing else to do, it was boring in the evenings. Manhattans bacame the teenagers place after midnight and seemed to be accepted by the adults, but it should not have been allowed to happen, they seemed to dominate the place, they were noisey when going back to their rooms aound 4am and also seemed to hang around in groups by the lifts, also some of the younger children were runing up & down the stairs, through the bars etc any time of the day & night, more visible security is needed to keep a check on the young ones. The blue bar was a waste, would have been better as a 24hr cafe, overlooking the atrium,it would have attracted the adults going back to their cabins for a late night snack (like the cafe jardin on oceana).Malibar was nice but music/entertainment finished too ealy, need to cater for the under 60's more, we like lively bars also! Barcelona was just a city, ok to visit for an hour or so, but thats all. Toulon was a waste of time, it was dirty & scruffy, nothing there to see. Naples was even worse than Toulon, we should have been told about Naples town! Only good thingabout going to the port, was we went to the Hercalaneum site, which was amazing. Civiticavecia for Rome was good, Rome was fantastic, everyone should go to the colisseum! Ajaccio was beautiful. Gibraltar was good, but trip was too expensive for what you saw, half way up mountain to see a few monkeys & st.michaels cave, only at the port for half a day, need to be there a full day, felt too rushed. Lisbon, a big city is ok to visit for an hour or so, but not very exciting. We had a deluxe double cabin on D deck, which had a large balcony so we were able to sunbathe on it most of the day if we wanted to, it was great, only problem was because the balcony jutted out, you were overlooked from the cabins above you. Service wasn't as good as last 2 ships we have been on, maybe because this is a bigger ship and it is quite impersonal. The shops weren't that good. The Costa coffee area was great, should have another one further up in the middle deck of the ship. The buffet area is on deck 15 at the back of the ship, it can become quite annoying at times going up & down for breakfast. lunch & snacks everyday, need to have a snack area around the atrium, should change blue bar to a 24hr cafe!

Cruise Positives:
we had superior double room on D deck and was surprised to find we had a lovely big balcony,& got the sun most of the day.

Cruise Negatives:
ship v,large so impersonal, buffet court on deck 15,at back of ship, the 24hour buffet area is a joke,it is so basic, after being spoilt on the oceana & aurora for late snacks, the azura was a real disappointment to us. The staff was not as friendly as last
